@petewentz I love that the stewardess thought we were a gay couple b/c I was cleaning the blood off yr face. Hope the stitches hold up
if it wasn't 4am I'd stay up and write it now. I just have so much love in my heart for those boys. Mostly, for drunk pete. He's all sloppy and giddy, not unlike myself.

Because the semester is over and it's what I spent a large chunk of time on, here's some writings from my first semester of grad school:
Running. I posted a rough draft of this a few months back, but this is a completely reworked 2nd draft, and what I turned in for my final portfolio. Since it's completely rewritten it's still in a rough form, but I love the story so much more now. This, if I worked on it more, could be one of my favorites and potentially what I'll try to start sending out for publication.
i want to hold your hand. What I wrote for my form & theory class. It was meant as an experiment in voice, style, and form, mirroring an author we read in class. It's not my favorite thing ever, and I loathe the ending (which happens when I write it 20 mins before it's due). It's 1st person male pov, which is always fun, and it's lead by subheadings. I don't know; I love parts but again, needs work.
And for fun, I chucked out this drabble tonight for heavy lights, because pete is never not my muse.
and this is the 8,000 words I churned out for nanowrimo last year. I've never posted it. It's going nowhere and of course very sloppy, but meh. Again, love the idea, just needs mucho work.
your feedback is always desired and appreciated ♥

So I made a New Moon "music video" to "I Belong To You" by Muse, and posted it over here at lion_lamb. People seem to like it, so. Whatever I know it makes me twelve but I like playing around in iMovie. It was a fun project to distract me from finals week.
And, this story? Keeps getting new comments on it, despite being posted in 2007. That just makes me so incredibly happy.
Icon post soon, promise. (and my current icon was a total guilty pleasure moment, I don't even enjoy glambert that much, just that look he gives in the video, ugh).
Fannish stuff aside, I haven't been doing much else to fill my time over break. It's such a sudden stop from rushed days to absolutely nothing that I don't even know what to do with myself. I even made myself a to-do list for over break, of hobbies that I want to get to or reading I want to catch up on. I can't just stop. I can't just sit down and put a movie on, I have to plan out my day. Force of habit. But also, I don't want to get so lazy that when I go back I'm hit with it in the face again.
But, things I do mean to watch over break: the hills and the city, because I didn't see any of it this entire season, catch up on glee (I've only seen 2 episodes), and sex and the city from the beginning, with season 1. Also want to catch up on past seasons of the office, somewhere in there too. Ah, the thrilling life of break.
